For a few months I have been the custodian of a secret. At last I can share it. Beginning Thursday, October 11, the RHCPA’s Plaza Suite will be transformed into a cabaret. Tickets for Suite Thursday performances will not be sold in advance, we must queue, with a $20 bill in hand for the 7:30 PM gigs. Some of the artists were announced last night at the 2012-13 season launch. The programming is incredibly diverse – magic, comedy, jazz are just some of the genres represented.

The evening I am anticipating the most is in March 2013 – I believe. Bravura, an outstanding trio of baritones will perform in, what I expect will be an extremely intimate setting. Bravura sang last night and filled the  theatre with their rich, powerful voices. I get chills imaging how they will sound in a smaller cabaret setting. I’ll be at the head of the queue for tickets that night!
