I’m in the travel business. If I weren’t, I would be spending most of my personal time thinking about how to get to the next horizon. I’ve been doing that ever since I acquired my own library card. My books of choice – biographies and travel books. I was always looking for the history behind the destination.

Now that I’ve been working on my family tree, I know that I inherited about 10 generations of traveling genes. My people moved, moved again, and moved again.

The preamble is to explain why the MLH Youth Fund is dear to my heart. We fund new horizons for youth who would otherwise have to stay at home, while their peers traveled.
