I’ve been away exploring Prince Edward County, perhaps the newest wine region in Ontario, if not Canada, as it received its designation in 2008 I believe.
Admittedly I am overly fond of good food. I enjoy a glass of wine, but, truth be told, my palate isn’t terribly sophisticated. But I’ve learned alot. And I have to acknowledge that part of my education has resulted from my experiences aboard Quark vessels. How’s that for a job perk?
People who travel to the polar regions usually have traveled everywhere else first – Peru, Egypt, Ecuador, China. While traveling they have sipped and tasted all kinds of international flavours. They share their stories, their experiences, their likes and dislikes. Without trying, I learn something new on each voyage.
